Salford Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025 - Statutory Consultation

19 June 2025 23:00 - 20 August 2025 23:00

Salford Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) are in the process of developing a new Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). This is a statutory responsibility as set out under the NHS (Pharmaceutical Services and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013.

The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) is a statutory health needs assessment determining whether the available pharmaceutical services meet the needs of the population of the area, describing the services currently provided and identifying any gaps in provision.

The Regulations require that the Health and Wellbeing Board undertakes a formal consultation on the document with the aim of gathering constructive feedback from a range of stakeholders. As part of the consultation process, we would like to invite your feedback on this draft.

The consultation period will run until 19th August 2025.

If you have any questions, or require a paper copy of the consultation response form or the PNA report, please contact intelligence@salford.gov.uk.

Thank you for taking part.
