Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Strategy 2026-2031 public consultation

Thank you for taking part in this consultation. Your feedback will help us shape our Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Strategy 2026-2031 and ensure it reflects the needs of victims, survivors, and our communities. All responses are confidential and anonymous.

We are calling our strategy a Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Strategy in reference to sexual violence and abuse which occurs as a part of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence. (The strategy does not cover sexual violence or abuse that happens outside of domestic abuse situations).

The strategy will support the continued improvement of our response to tackling domestic abuse and supporting victims and survivors across our partnerships in Salford. It is a multi-agency strategy – covering social care, housing, policing, health and the voluntary and community sector – and is for all people working with victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse.

We have taken learning and feedback from the consultation which took place to support the Domestic Abuse Support in Safe Accommodation Strategy 2025-2028 to inform the development of our strategy.
