2025- 2030 Salford Housing Strategy - A Good Homes approach

If you require a paper copy of this questionnaire these can be requested from: housing.strategy@salford.gov.uk or call 0161 793 3852

Survey closing date: Monday 14 October 2024

Salford City Council and its partners are developing a new housing strategy and to ensure we get it right we want the views of as many people as possible to inform our priorities. The Housing Strategy sets out the council’s plans to deliver housing and housing related services across all tenures (home ownership, private renting and social housing) throughout the city.

The survey outlines our three draft priorities:

  • Priority A. Partners to ensure the development of more, new homes across the city to meet local needs – especially affordable homes.
  • Priority B. Residents will be supported to live in secure, warm, dry, energy efficient homes, that are free from damp and mould – and are well managed
  • Priority C: Vulnerable residents will be supported to live as independently as possible

Before taking the survey, check the drop-down boxes below for an overview of why we selected the three housing draft priorities and why we believe these are a priority for the city.
