Maybe Salford Council could take a tip from Cambridge Council and provide dedicated large bins for disposal of small electrical appliances for recycling.
Not everyone has access to a vehicle to take small devices like toasters, Li- Ion batteries , DVD players etc. to the tip for recycling and presently, the Council charge too much for collection, especially with the cost of living as it is.
